Plaza Dentist Dr. “Jodie” Wing Lee has always been passionate about helping people, promoting good oral health, and creating beautiful smiles. With over twenty years in the industry, she treats patients of all ages at her Plaza Dentist office on the Country Club Plaza. 

Meet Your Doctor: Dr. Jodie Lee

Dr. Lee received her B.S. degree from the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1998 and her D.M.D. degree from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. Dr. Lee then completed a general practice residency (GPR) at Lutheran Medical Center in New York. 

Before opening Lee Plaza Dental, Dr. Lee was in private practice in the Los Angeles area and served as a part-time Clinical Instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry GPR program. When she and her family moved to Kansas City, Dr. Lee has served as the director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and has served as the director of dental services at the University of Kansas Health System.

Dr. Lee is committed to learning the latest advances in dentistry. In addition to pursuing continuing dental education at the Dawson Academy and Spear Education, she participates in local and national dental meetings. Her professional affiliations include the American Dental Association and the Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Lee has served on the American Association of Women Dentists board of directors.

Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family outside the office: her husband and two children.
